Smallville Episode Guide - Season Six Finale (cont.)

This post of the Smallville episode guide is again addressing a question from the season six finale: what exactly is Chloe’s power? What exactly was the deal with her tears regenerating Lois Lane? And why did Chloe appear to be dead after that happened? That whole situation was fairly confusing. Also, how is Chloe going to come back to life? Or, is she going to come back to life?

Now we need to address more the issue of Chloe’s power. What is it that caused Lois’ stab wound to just disappear? It’s very interesting to think about what Chloe’s power may be. Also, it will be interesting to learn how Chloe will be able to control her ability. Will she be able to control it without immediately looking as if she is dead? I’m certain that one of the shows in the upcoming season seven will offer some insight into how Chloe’s power works.

With all this going on with Chloe, my biggest question is how important is she to the show? With Lois becoming a pretty main character, and the pending introduction of Clark’s cousin Kara, what is Chloe going to bring to the table? It was understandable in the earlier seasons to have some filler characters, but now it’s a little more puzzling. Lois, Lex, Clark, Kara, and even Jimmy Olsen are all much more substantial characters in this story than Chloe. Maybe it’s because she is a bigger connection to the Daily Planet for Clark than Jimmy is at this point, but somehow Lois is going to end up as a Daily Planet reporter. What do you think is going to happen to Chloe this season?
